Meet the "MOSAIC Makers" Artists - Greensboro

  Stephanie is a unique and expressive artist who takes pride in her ability to think beyond conventional boundaries. To her, there is no such thing as a box. Each of her pottery creations tells a story that she delights in sharing with her customers. She loves attending Pop-Up Shows, where she relishes the opportunity to meet new people. When she's not at the studio, she enjoys organizing and crafting even more incredible art from the comfort of her home. 

  Michael has been a resident artist at Mosaic Makers for more than ten years. He is incredibly talented and takes great pride in his creations. A bit of a perfectionist, Michael maintains a tidy workspace to ensure his art meets his high standards. He is also a generous and kind-hearted individual who easily befriends everyone he encounters. While working on his art, Michael enjoys indulging in hot chocolate and donuts as his favorite snacks. 

 Tevin is a dedicated artist who likes  listening to music and humming as he creates. He effortlessly transitions between painting and pottery. His dog paintings have garnered the attention of numerous art  lovers. He is  known for his use of vibrant colors and expressive brush strokes. Tevin also stays active through martial arts. Additionally, he has a keen interest in Japanese culture and cuisine. 

Tim is an incredibly motivated individual. He "keeps it real" and genuinely enjoys creating art, especially when it sells, as it boosts his motivation even further. His favorite colors are Tar Heel Blue and the black and white of the Carolina Panthers. When he's not at Mosaic, he loves going out in the community and playing video games. If Tim could choose his dream job, it would be working at the movie theater. 

 Diane is an artist who specializes in pottery and mixed media collage canvases. She starts her collage creations by selecting a motif and then layers different papers to form her images. Each artwork is one-of-a-kind. Red, her favorite color, prominently features in many of her pieces. Known for her friendly demeanor, Diane never meets a stranger, and you can often find her engaging in conversation while showcasing her creativity through her art. 

 Veronica is one of the newest members of Mosaic Makers, and she brings her distinctive flair to the team. Among her favorite pottery creations are the hanging wall plaques adorned with inspiring and welcoming phrases. Purple is her favorite color, which she often incorporates into her artwork. When she's at home, she enjoys cooking and embroidering. If you ask her what draws her to the studio, her face brightens as she responds, "It's fun!" 

 Hailing from Trinidad, Kherdine infuses her island flair into the studio. She has been a resident artist at Mosaic for more than a decade. At Mosaic, she enjoys creating paintings and crafting angels, each possessing its own unique personality. In her free time, she loves writing, reading, and listening to music. Her favorite way to unwind is by spending quality time with her family. Kherdine is known for her generosity, always pouring immense love into her artistic creations. 

 Patience has a passion for hand-building pottery, skillfully rolling out clay and shaping it into a diverse range of seasonal figures and items. This process ignites her creative energy. She often draws inspiration from Pinterest, infusing each piece with her distinctive touch.  If she could have lunch with any one it would be The Rock. After that meeting  he would definitely be a collector of her art.

 Chris is a prolific artist who delights in visiting the studio to create art and chat with friends. He thrives on generating fresh ideas and seamlessly shifts between crafting pottery and producing striking, colorful paintings. He also takes pleasure in participating in art exhibitions, where he can connect with new people and discuss his work. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing video games and is a fan of all things related to Star Wars movies. 

  In his own words, Demarion has been a part of LIFESPAN “for a very, very, very long time, and I love it.” His favorite aspect of the studio is spending time with friends while crafting his artwork and earning money. He takes pleasure in creating pottery and paintings, and he is always eager to learn new things. Three words that describe Demarion would be talkative (he knows no strangers), fun, and creative. His art certainly reflects a sense of fun and creativity. 

   Donnell is one of the original artists at Mosaic Charlotte, having begun his journey with the organization in 2017. He is a talented illustrator whose creativity is sparked by vintage cars and vehicles, showcasing an extraordinary attention to detail in his work. Describing himself as friendly and helpful, Donnell embodies these qualities every day he spends in the studio. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, and if given the choice to be an animal, he would choose to be a cat, inspired by Dr. Seuss's "The Cat in the Hat," which reflects his passion for illustration. 

 Amy is one of two of the founding artists at Mosaic Makers in Charlotte. Her warm personality and commitment to producing distinctive paintings are truly inspiring, as her work carries a gentle, innocent quality. She loves using colored pencils and watercolor washes, which contribute to the playful spirit of her art. When she isn't in the studio, Amy enjoys solving puzzles, playing on her keyboard, and spending quality time with her family. 

 Yassin is the latest artist to join the Mosaic Makers studio in Charlotte. He has a passion for acrylic painting and enjoys drawing with colored pencils and markers. His work is greatly influenced by the vibrant colors, characters, and landscapes of the Super Mario video game series. Although he can be reserved at first, once he feels at ease, he reveals a humorous side and delights in discussing his interests.
